A group of survivor’s are working on finally developing “A Survivor’s Project” , in which we are going to ask survivor’s to come forth and tell their stories. There are more of us than any of us realize, and it is working through this together as a group that will bring the healing that is needed in the world right now. Each of us have a voice, and each of our stories are important. The time to share is now, as the world needs to become more enlightened in order to stop the same injustices from occurring in the future, and I am asking all of you out there to start considering what it is you would like the world to know in order to effectly incur change throughout it. Together, we can change the world, we just need to believe in ourselves. More info will be posted the closer we get to manifesting this project.

Debbie Nathan and her affiliations with the National Center for Reason and Justice. (You gotta read what these people do!)
I stole this off the Wall Street Journal book review section on Sybil Exposed- I felt it was important to share. When wondering if there is an agenda to Debbie Nathan’s book, it is important to look at the author’s affiliations. Here are some of Nathan’s:

“[Debbie] Nathan is an advocacy journalist who argues that federal laws on child pornography and child sexual abuse are too strict. “Sex is such a highly charged issue in our culture that — particularly when it comes to child sex abuse — people are very irrational,” Nathan says. “Many people are convicted who are innocent, in my opinion.”
“Nathan’s stories… failed to disclose a key affiliation: She is a board member and donor for the National Center for Reason and Justice, a not-for-profit group that distributes money to help the legal filings of people it says have been wrongly convicted of child sexual abuse. The center distributes about $100,000 a year to their legal defense. Among the recipients of this aid: Father Paul Shanley, the most notorious figure in Boston’s Catholic Church sexual abuse scandal.”
A look at the National Center for Reason and Justice webiste also reveals that Carol Tavris, the author of this review, is also a board member.
I wonder if the Wall Street Journal knew they were publishing a review by a biased source?

A Discussion about Rabbit Hole: A Satanic Ritual Abuse Survivor’s Story
It has been disturbing watching all of our nation’s problems with child sex abuse play out on the nightly news, but I do have to say that the awareness that it is providing the general population is like nothing I have ever seen. People are starting to wake up and become aware of the problem surrounding our children in a way that is incredibly encouraging. The more understanding that is obtained, the closer we get are to comprehending the issues surrounding Franklin Credit Union and what happened in Omaha’s history. Similar to the Penn State scandal in that the abuse was well known but nonetheless accepted as the norm, the more we learn, the more we understand the mentality of those who were able to look the other way, as well as those who were convinced they were above the law. Providing another example of a widespread corruption and secret conspiracies, it shows that such activity not only is real, but that it exists in a much larger scope than ever imagined. Although the events that are playing out at Penn State are small potatoes compared to what happened here in Omaha, I truly believe that the more we learn about the chaos surrounding our children, the easier it will be to grasp the nuances of what happened in Nebraska.
I have spent a great deal of time lately focused on Debbie Nathan’s Sybil Exposed, but this is because it is my contention that the False Memory people are trying to put their spin on situations that seem to be seeping out of the woodwork. I have had it argued that Sybil caused our nation’s history with satanic abuse, as well as Geraldo, and today I even had to comment on the fact that someone tried to blame our history on the Salem witch trials. I have made the comment that arguing these points is like running around a tree. It is a great childish distraction, but you don’t get anywhere, and eventually you get dizzy from the arguments. My argument is that satanic abuse is real and has a history that has nothing to do with Sybil, Geraldo, nor the Salem witch trials. In Rabbit Hole: A Satanic Ritual Abuse Survivor’s Story, I go into great detail to the real history that has plenty of documentation, and makes infinitely more sense than what has previously been presented by the False Memory people.
The False Memory people want to say that for such abuse to be corroborated two external sources must be present, however- such exists with the situations surrounding Omaha. In fact, so much history exists here that it is hard to escape that fact that everything here was ignored when it could have been easily investigated and prosecuted. Ignoring the fact that the history of the False Memory people has been to attack the victims and support the perps, their arguments don’t apply to what happened in Omaha, nor can they effectively attack the documented history that still remains. Yes, we are talking thirty years ago, but the abuses that were reported had nothing to do with repressed memories nor DID but rather the same kind of abuses that we are seeing in so many other places today. However, the element of satanic ritual abuse has a tendency to make people’s eyes glaze over, and that is why I am writing this entry tonight.
Even now, things here in Omaha are fighting exposure. Since I have written Rabbit Hole, I have been taken to court over false allegations, and the end result was that a perp was given power over their victim, even though I am in the process of having the police investigate the things that I have spoken about. My claims have been valid enough that the police have seen fit to extract my DNA to compare it to cold cases that I believe my family was involved with. The history surrounding Franklin Credit and the way victims have been treated is not only far from stellar, but borders on criminal, and to say that I am concerned for my future for writing Rabbit Hole is an understatement. However, the truth must get out there, and sometimes things are bigger than one person. The local authorities do not have a good history with all of this, but I must trust them in order to get this investigated, and so I am leaving it in God’s hands.
The information in Rabbit Hole: A Satanic Ritual Abuse Survivor’s Story is different than any other version that has been on the internet. Completely revamped in way that the new edits contain documentation, Rabbit Hole is, in my opinion, an important look at what was really occurring here in Omaha in a way that is hard to deny. Written as a tribute to survivor’s everywhere, I stand behind the book completely- no matter what the personal outcome is. The truth must be told in order to prevent such abuses from occurring today and in the future, and even though it is in our nation’s past, it is still prevalent in that it stands as a shining example of the abuse that our nation still seems to be incurring. It only takes one person to stand to make a difference, so consider me as one who wishes to make a difference, although it has been my experience that I am far from alone.
Rabbit Hole is a testament to the truth that is part of so many of our histories, and I pray that, in time, it makes some sort of difference in preventing such abuses in the future!

New Entry on Wall Street Journal review on Sybil Exposed
These issues matter because there is a definite push to discredit claims such as mine in the media, despite the issues of child abuse inundating the nightly news. By the False Memory definition, had that assistant coach not walked into the shower, seeing Sandusky and a 10 year old, since there was not cohoberation of two or more, it would never have happened. Designed to protect pedophiles, the history of the False Memory Foundation is to attack victims in order to protect perps. Arguing inane issues such as the validity of psychotherapy and the details of how a person remembers through trauma, now they are trying to encapsulate the issues of satanic ritual abuse with Sybil and DID, dismissing the claims of abuse promptly, although Sybil NEVER said she was a product of such abuse. The media is heavily focused on promoting Debbie Nathan’s book Sybil Exposed, as well as dismissing issues of satanic ritual abuse, as shown by the ABCnews article about a therapist implanting memories of satanic abuse in his patients.

One only has to go to ritualabuse.us to see the validity of claims of such abuse- as well as others that are happening right now within our own borders. One must question why this push- and why now, when all of this has been dismissed for so many years as conspiracy theory. Considering all of the allegations concerning Penn State, the Citadel, the CDC, and Hollywood- perhaps that might be the reason, although I do not think that neither Sybil nor Geraldo can be blamed for everything that we are learning on a daily basis.
“Unfortunately- I am on the other end of the spectrum, as I, after years of trying- have finally accomplished getting the police to look into my family for their crimes when we were in a satanic cult here in Omaha NE. The major issue that I have with Debbie Nathan and Sybil Exposed in general is that there seems to be this odd attempt to push our nation’s history with satanic abuse on Sybil- when she isn’t blaming Geraldo. Her previous book can not be discredited, nor can the chapters “Contagion” and “Containment” in Sybil Exposed, showing that she has a definite point that she is trying to make, although neither work.
There are terrible therapists- just like there are terrible lawyers, dentists, and plumbers, but that doesnt mean that all of them are bad- or that therapy is bogus. It is very true that there are some out there that can be convinced of the most incredible things, but that doesnt mean that all abuse issues must be thrown out. I never suffered from DID, and many of my memories were never repressed– and I take issue with this whole “throwing the baby out with the bathwater” mentality. Also- my therapist has NEVER tried to tell me about my life- and so the whole False Memory theories can’t be applied to my situation, as I brought my isssues to my therapist, and not the other way around.
I honestly dont know much about Sybil- as her story was before my time, however, I can say that she had no influence on me or what I experienced as a child. And I have equated Geraldo with sensationalist journalism- and not really good at that, which is why he has fallen into pretty much obscurity. My issues concerning satanic abuse stand on their own, and right now, considering that I have already given my DNA, things seem to look as if my claims are solid enough that the police feel it is worth checking out.
There are horrid therapists out there- that is no doubt- and I don’t have any respect for Wilber’s methods, however, none of this has any bering on what is happening right now in my life. I cant speak for the validity of Sybil- but I can speak for myself and what I have experienced- and that is that satanic ritual abuse happens and is real.”

I want to add my post this morning, as it pretty much details my concerns about what is happening with regards to Sybil Exposed and the False Memory Foundation purporting that she is the one who caused our nation’s history with satanic panic. The arguments in there are many- and much has been detailed in Nathan’s blantant disregard for the facts. I wanted to put what I put in this morning to keep people up to date with what is happening…
“Personally I think that Helen has been fine with what she has said- the argument is that she disagrees. I have read most of the comments on this book- and I dont remember the other side even ONCE entertaining the notion that Debbie Nathan has an agenda in this book. The personal attacks in here that are meant to be demeaning make the other side look like children, and makes it obvious that, although they aren’t directly connected to DN, they are definitely part of her fan club- and therefore have their own agenda in all of this.
I never read Sybil, I didn’t see the movie either (I was a bit young)- but suggesting that American women are prone to mass hysteria is stupid-considering in our nation’s history there has one been ONE “hysteria” in our history- and that has to do with satanic abuse.
Since Sybil NEVER ONCE SAID SHE WAS ABUSED SATANICALLY- the “other side” seems to be ready to pick at EVERYTHING else to try and make this assertion true- which is isnt.
Nathan’s focus with Sybil Exposed was not DID but with our nation’s history of satanic abuse- and no argument with Sybil is going to prove Nathan’s beliefs, nor is any argument about Geraldo.
The other side picks at those who stand against Nathan’s writing, but don’t bother to address the blantant False Memory stuff that Nathan is purporting. They just call their opponents names and dis on what they are trying to say or how they are saying it- rather than dealing with the specifics of what they are saying. Unable to deal with the issues at hand- they try to temper the argument with insults and berating comments. In debate- these tactics aren’t allowed- but since any moron can sit at their computer and type whatever they want- the rules of conduct don’t seem to matter.
The insults in here don’t make that side superior but rather makes it look like they cant hold their own without striking out at those who disagree with them- no matter how caddy they make the statements sound.
Helen has been great at presenting facts- and felicity is great as well- just to name a couple of posters. Stephen isnt so bad himself either. However, this bickering that the other side is presenting is hard to deal with- and the actions going on are like those of an alcoholic- who will do anything and blame anyone else to justify their own lack.
Beyond the insults- Nathan does have an agenda and Sybil DID NOT CAUSE our nation’s history with satanic abuse. I DID read Sybil Exposed, and I found the arguments to be way to simplistic for what happened, not to mention completely off base. Reading her posts on other sites- I have come to the conclusion that she is either a moron, or is hell bent on dismissing the real reasons why our nation’s history is as it is. Nathan is OBVIOUSLY a false memory advocate.
Of course the False Memory Foundation is basically set up to protect pedophiles, so that in and of itself says something. Of course- considering all the allegations of child abuse that are hitting the news lately- they have more worries than a book about Sybil. History always repeats itself- and since we are living in that time RIGHT NOW- I think we are all going to see for ourselves how this is going to really play out. Unless Nathan can somehow blame Sybil and Geraldo for Penn State, the Citadel, the CDC, and Hollywood- it is obvious that our nation STILL HAS THE SAME PROBLEMS IT DID IN THE 80S. And right along with the False Memory demands- there seems to be MORE THAN ONE WITNESS TO THIS STUFF. Unless Nathan can explain this all away-I am not sure what the whole argument is about.”

Having seen a therapist for over a decade now- I have to wonder what kind of ninny lets their therapist have so much control that they allow themselves to be convinced about their own reality? There are bad therapists- just like there are bad doctors, bad dentists, etc. Doesn’t mean everyone in the field is bad. However, if you are a big enough idiot to allow someone to tell you about your life and not the other way around, then you have more issues than a bad therapist. Personally- I dont think that many Americans are that prone to such things, and those that are must be held accountable for their own actions. This story is just more False Memory propaganda, trying to assert that our nation’s history with satanic abuse is due to bad therapists. That is when they arent blaming Sybil or Geraldo, which Debbie Nathan has done. Lawyers or not- money or not- you cant cure stupid.
