My stepmother’s lawyer sent out nasty letters again today- trying to stop the book launch. I wonder if they know that there is no longer any statute of limitations on child abuse in Nebraska any more. My book launch is going on as planned- regardless of any letters sent or the weather. COME VISIT ME THIS WEEKEND AT DIXIE QUICKS AND SEE WHY MY STEPMOTHER’S LAWYER WANTS TO STOP THIS BOOK ANY WAY THEY CAN THINK OF.

Kathy Bannister: Now that Joanne has tried to close down yet another book launch…and exactly why is that? Lol, let me think…. It is my opinion that we should consult an attorney. There is no statute of limitations on child abuse in the State of Nebraska. Both of us have files several inches thick documenting the abuse we suffered as children…you, in the State of Iowa mostly, and me in the State of Nebraska. I have 99% of the records, which led to my placement in a foster home. Interesting how Joanne forgets the past. Some of us remember a little too well.

Kathy Bannister: I, personally, have grown exceedingly tired of her victim act. I worked with true victims, and she is NOT one. I worked as an advocate for victims of domestic violence for 3 years (in an internship and volunteer). So, I know about this topic… She had an affair with Dad while he was still married. Her relationship with our father is mired in the ashes of his previous marriage (also easy to prove). My years living with her consisted on a lot of abuse…again, all of it well documented. I obtained hospital reports, social workers’ reports, etc long ago before they were lost or archived. Dad’s will was altered, and comparing his forged signature to sample of her writing (thanks to her pro see affidavit) again makes it obvious….just takes a graphologist to attest to the fact. Her attorney signed off on that…so, his career would also be toast. I say…GO FOR IT!!!

Kathy Bannister: If she ever actually read your book, she would realize that it is soooo much larger than her. She hardly merits mention in your book.

David Shurter: Everything is documented- I haven’t played because the fight isn’t fair- but I know that Gerry is such an idiot that he will take it to whatever level he has too in order to try and stop me- and eventually- it is all going to come out. My DNA has already been taken- and the police are HEAVILY investigating our family- so unless they think a nasty letter is going to stop that- I don’t really see what they can do. Take me to court- I have said it before and I’ll just keep saying it- this time I have a lawyer- and a strong support system in town who are ALL VERY INTERESTED IN WHAT I HAVE TO SAY!!!! So BRING IT!!!!!

Kathy Bannister: Great! So, we are all set to go to court, should that be necessary. Perhaps she will figure this out and back off. Funny
that she has forgotten all of the documentation that exists. Sometimes I think that she is so far removed from reality that she just thinks the past vanished in to thin air.

Caryn Stardancer was a pioneer in establishing a grassroots network for survivors of sadistic ritualistic abuse. She co-founded Survivorship with Catherine Raggazzi, and served at the helm of that organization for a decade. During that time Caryn wrote and spoke both nationally and internationally, served as a mentor-counselor, taught professional service providers through UC Davis Entension classes and San Francisco General Hospital Grand Rounds, and exhibited her survivorship-inspired artwork in publications, galleries and exhibitions. She is currently retired to her rural home, where she is a proudly active grandma, homemaker and gardener.

Deborah Tisdale is a Bay Area vocalist who began singing while growing up in Los Angeles, California. In addition to singing in various church choirs, she sang with the Pacific Chorale of Orange County. After moving to the Bay Area, she joined and sang with the East Bay Church of Religious Science Choir and has sung with the Berkeley Community Chorus. In the spring of 2008 she performed as a back-up singer for San Francisco jazz singer Paula West, and has further expanded her musical interests into jazz and pop. Currently, she sings with Dominion A Cappella Ensemble and the gospel group Sharon D. Henderson & Friends, and is a sought-after guest soloist in Bay Area New Thought churches.

Rabbit Hole: A Satanic Ritual Abuse Survivor’s Story

David Shurter, author of the just published Rabbit Hole: A Satanic Ritual Abuse Survivor’s Story, a book about SRA and events that surrounded Omaha NE and his life, is concerned that we are in a modern day rabbit hole concerning the allegations that have come out in our nation lately concerning child abuse, and details his life and the events that surrounded him as a comparison to what we are seeing today in hopes to educate people thus preventing history from repeating itself. Speaking of the societal implications that the child and drug trafficking had on the people involved with it, his focus is to explore the events that surrounded a failed savings and loan and his family and their affairs in order to explain what exactly was occurring in the middle of the country when he was inducted into a cult as a child- up to his adulthood, when the cult members sought him out again. Affirming that which has been kept hidden under the guise of conspiracy theories, it is his hope to bring survivors forward in a way that we no longer have to bother with the doubt of what happened because we already know, in order to help shape the newly developing consciousness concerning our plight. Exploring his past in Omaha, he brings a new perspective to satanic ritual abuse in such a way that it can no longer be denied, and it is his hopes to share his enthusiasm for the shift that is happening and to explore the concept that people are actually waking up.

Bio: David Shurter was intimately connected to events in Omaha surrounding a failed credit union and to the elite who were involved in a drug and child trafficking ring. Having written Rabbit Hole: A Satanic Ritual Abuse Survivor’s Story, it is David’s hope to expose the SRA that occurred in his childhood.

Accessing Dissociated Mental States: Techniques, Ethics and Risk Management

This PowerPoint-assisted workshop teaches clinical skills for mental health professionals who work with survivors of extreme abuse. More specifically, we will discuss the clinical strategy that I call Accessing Dissociated Mental States (Noblitt, 1997; Noblitt & Perskin, 2000). We will review the narratives of survivors that explain how they were trained to experience trauma-mediated amnesia and dissociation of identity in response to particular triggering stimuli. We will discuss the details of how such abusive training is often done and how therapists can integrate this knowledge in their own clinical assessments and treatment planning. Included will be some of the common and more generic triggers as well as methods for discovering more idiosyncratic cues. Unfortunately many of these survivors are in therapy for years before these problems are accurately identified. Are there quicker, more efficient ways for detecting these cue-controlled behaviors and providing appropriate treatment? What are some of the common hand signals, touch methods and other programming cues? Should therapists know about these so that they can avoid those that may be harmful? On the other hand, can therapists use triggers as part of therapy to facilitate the survivor’s recover? We will consider these questions and others in the context of ethical practice and risk management. A survivor of extreme abuse will participate in the actual demonstration of specific techniques.

Bio: Randy Noblitt is Professor of Clinical Psychology at The California School of Professional Psychology at Alliant International University in Los Angeles, California. He is also an author and educator and has acted as consultant, expert witness, and fact witness in civil and criminal cases involving allegations of child abuse, ritual abuse, and cult affiliation.

Survivorship is one of the oldest and most respected organizations supporting survivors of extreme child abuse, including sadistic sexual abuse, ritualistic abuse, mind control, and torture.

Survivorship provides resources, healing, and community for survivors; training and education for professionals who may serve survivors; and support for survivors’ partners and other allies. The organization functions as a lifeline for survivors who may be isolated emotionally or geographically. Through community outreach and training, Survivorship also raises awareness about these difficult issues.

The purpose of the conference will be to help survivors of ritual abuse and their allies. The conference will be for survivors, cosurvivors, helping professionals and others interested in this topic.

As a child, going through what I did- it was always presented as a game to me- so I wish to do the same now.

Michael, I am very practiced in what you taught me- and it turns out that I am incredibly good at it.  The dark- it is waiting to claim all of you- where you will never die, and never wake from your eternal nightmare that awaits you all.  What you all have worked so hard to achieve.  Face your demons and come clean, or forever be claimed in the darkness of your own hearts.  The choice is yours.  I would choose wisely.

From Wikepedia:  : The Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement (ACTA) is a plurilateral agreement for the purpose of establishing international standards for intellectual property rights enforcement. The agreement aims to establish an international legal framework for targeting counterfeit goods, generic medicines andcopyright infringement on the Internet, and would create a new governing body outside existing forums, such as the World Trade Organization, theWorld Intellectual Property Organization, or the United Nations.^[1][2][3]

The agreement was signed on 1 October 2010 by Australia, Canada, Japan, Morocco, New Zealand, Singapore, South Korea and the United States. In January 2012, the European Union and 22 of its member states signed as well, bringing the total number of signatories to 31. After ratification by 6 states, the convention will come into force.

Supporting and negotiating countries have heralded the agreement as a response to “the increase in global trade of counterfeit goods and pirated copyright protected works”, while opponents have lambasted it for its potentially adverse effects on fundamental civil and digital rights, including freedom of expression and communication privacy.^[4][5][6][7] Others, such as the Electronic Frontier Foundation, have derided the exclusion of civil society groups, developing countries and the general public from the agreement’s negotiation process and have described it as policy laundering.^[8][9] The signature of the EU and many of its member states resulted in the resignation in protest of the European Parliament‘s appointed rapporteur, as well aswidespread protests across Poland.^[10][11][12]

Things You Need to Know About ACTA:

1.  ACTA isn’t the “European” SOPA.  It is nearly GLOBAL, and will apply to every country that signs the treaty.

2. ACTA is far more aggressive!  ACTA will not simply affect websites and have them blocked out of the internet- its measures go as far as surveillance of anything you share through private channels.

3. ACTA doesn’t have a campaign against it that is as wide-spread and organized as the SOPA one.  This is DANGEROUS, as there’s less time between now and the final signing of ACTA.

4. ACTA has effects on healthcare, trade, and even tourism.

5. ACTA MUST BE STOPPED.

Book Launch for Rabbit Hole : A Satanic Ritual Abuse Survivor’s Story

Please join me as I launch my new book Rabbit Hole: A Satanic Ritual Abuse Survivor’s Story on Saturday, February 4th, 2012 at Dixie Quick’s at 157 West Broadway, Council Bluffs IA. There will be wine and cheese, and mini cupcakes provided by the Sweet Shop. Books on hand- I will be selling and signing copies of the book from 2-4:30 pm.

Directions provided below- but the easiest way to get to Dixie Quicks is to go straight down Broadway from downtown Omaha, go over the viaduct and continue going straight onto Kainesville. Take a right on North 2nd street, directly after the Old Mall, go two blocks, and Dixie Quicks is on the left.

In my battle to overcome the misconceptions that the False Memory people want to promote, I have discovered that there is, once again, a strong push to dismiss the claims that survivors of satanic ritual abuse with government involvement are making.  Using things like the case of Sybil, who had dissociative identity disorder, (once called multiple personality disorder)- they are trying to associate the diagnosis of DID with satanic ritual abuse, even though Sybil never claimed to be a victim of such, in such a way that one is compelled to dismiss it all in one fell swoop.  However, this time will not be so easy.

As a survivor working with other survivors, I have discovered that our group has abilities that others do not have.  Surviving situations that were nothing short of a continuation of what was happening in the concentration camps during the Holocaust, we have experienced a side of the human condition that most people have not had to face.  Not only did we face it, but we survived, becoming stronger than what we were before.  Many of us have an innate understanding of the world around us that allows us to see what most of the population can’t yet, and it was because of what we went through that made all of this possible.

They only picked the best and brightest, and even those of us who are the most broken have to admit that we stand out as such even now.  It is hard to face the isolation of our pasts, but just like the abuse is over, so is the concept of alienation.  There are simply too many of us out here.  Honestly, there is little reason to despair and more reason to rejoice- for not only are we coming into our own- but we are finding each other in larger and larger groups, enabling us to work together as a force to change the world as we know it.

Manipulating our fears, many of us have remained quiet, afraid of the ridicule that could ensue if we came clean about our lives- but the time for that is also over.  There are so many of us out here that realize what happened to all of us was not only possible- but more importantly- probable.  No longer able to be denied, we have all started to come together collectively, thus forming a voice that will enable us to educate and hopefully stop the injustices that have been done to us from happening to future generations, and we owe it to ourselves and each other to do what we can to strengthen that voice within our own individual selves.  We are only as powerful as we allow ourselves to be, but taught what we were; we have the abilities to raise the entire consciousness of the human race if we work at it, all in order to save future generations of children from enduring what we had to.

There are conferences going on- one in Davis CA  in April, one in Oakland CA in May, and another in Hartford CT in August, (just to name a few), information of which can be found on my website DavidShurter.com.  Organizations such as Survivorship, (Survivorship.org), and the NATRC, (NATRCoalition.org) are out there educating and reaching out to survivors, and we are finally finding the camaraderie that we have longed for such a long time.  Finally having reached a point where we are coming together- we all speak the same language of survivorship, and many of us have begun to garner a new perspective on just what we are capable of if we put the time and effort into it.  Quite simply- we were taught to change the world- and that is exactly what we are able to do.  Now is the time to let our collective light shine!

So think about attending one or more of the conferences- check out the websites and personally engage yourselves into believing that we have a good chance of fixing for others what wasn’t able to be fixed for us. I believe that it is through each other that we will find ourselves, and that these opportunities will enable us as individuals to educate ourselves in such a way that we will all be able to become more involved as a collective force instead of having to fight this battle alone.   Take my word for it- it makes the journey much easier- and a whole lot more fun!
