I will be only posting sporadically on DavidShurter.com for the next few months in order to work on my second book- which is going to be about spirituality and will have illustrations done by a brilliant local artist who has graciously agreed to help me. This period of the year is dark for many survivor’s, and so I am going to take some time for myself until the first of the year, at which time I will probably resume writing on a more consistent basis. Focusing so much on the dark sometimes makes one forget the light- and I need to take the time to regroup and allow myself to disengage from these investigations I have been so heavily involved with. Taking the time- esp. during the holidays, to focus on my faith in God just seems like a good idea- not to mention delightful.

I will try to write a couple times a week- and I hope that I don’t put too many readers off- but when life offers such an amazing cornucopia of opportunities, sometimes you just have to let go and take the first step to new lands. That is essentially what I plan on doing. A sabbatical is in order- and so please keep checking back and I’ll try to keep everyone abreast as to what I am up too when I can.

Man, to see so many survivor’s working towards a common goal has been awe inspiring, and I have been truly honored to be part of this process that is unfolding. The community is working together in a way I have never seen before, and the excitement that has already been generated by this conference has been quite noticeable.

Bringing together clinicians, survivor’s, and survivor advocates- the focus of this conference is inspiring hope and strength while educating everyone as to the tools that have helped so many of us achieve a sense of wholeness about ourselves. Offering tools for healing- we will all hopefully learn about each other that will help demystify so many misconceptions about each other as a society, bringing us together in a way that we all will leave everyone empowered. The roster is shaping up to be something spectacular, and I am not alone in being incredibly grateful for those who have come forward with an interest to speak. I have said it before, and I will say it again- this conference is going to be something to write home about.

During the conference, there will be workshops being held throughout and continuously involving art therapy, journal writing, even one where attendees will be told how to write and publish their stories. A book store complete with titles that concern healing, dissociation, and survivor’s stories, and there will be tables set up with information on a myriad of subjects involving healing and thriving in this day and age. Also, there will be presentations on such topics as EMDR, thriving through dissociation, and my sister and I will present a family’s picture of what it was like to have DID in the family.

Trauma has intense and deliberate effects on a person’s psyche, and this conference will allow everyone to come together and share experiences and knowledge in a way that allows those in attendance to feel a sense of community- not only with each other, but with their families, their supporters, and the world at large. Those who are affected by dissociative moments are more common place than ever before- and it is coming together as a group that makes this one a solid and incredibly rich experience for all. I am honored to be able to help sponsor such a fantastic event.

Oh Critty- you shouldn’t be upset that I spoke to Jenny- but in doing so I know what the game is all about. Jenny wanted to meet me- I blew it off. I learned what I needed to learn. Your group has reached out and done A LOT with that woman and her family- and you are just upset that we reached out and spoke to her as well. Funny- she wants to talk at the conference we are hosting in Seattle- although I don’t think that is gonna happen. Children are the foundation of our society- and if any place needs to stand against child abuse and bring awareness, not only to the abuse but the TRAFFICKING that is occurring with our most poor citizens children, it is Omaha Nebraska.

I attended a fantastic meeting of the minds concerning trafficking at Project Harmony- and spoke out saying that until we deal with our issues concerning our past indiscretions concerning a failed savings and loan, Boystown, the the richest of our citizens- we will never adequately deal with the issues of child abuse and such. I thought that I would see eyes roll- but fascinatingly enough- I realized that one point that I had the complete attention of everyone in that room- giving me hope that I am not alone in thinking that this needs to be revisited and brought out into the light so that we can expose the granddaddy of all of child trafficking- specifically in boys. In order to understand the problem – we must start somewhere.

So I am sending out this link to people and see if anyone is interested in creating a march here at the same time? Rallying behind our children is essential- and now a days- considering the statistics concerning human trafficking and children in our nation- now is the time to make a stand and speak out against those who would use children for their own narcissistic purposes. Omaha making a bit of noise would be noticed I believe- and would show, as a community- that we back our children as the basic building blocks of the human race and our only ability to survive the future.

I listened to this podcast this morning and felt I HAD to share this. This woman is VERY knowledgeable and though not all of our training was the same- that which was she was SPOT ON in talking about it!

There is a strong push right now to totally discredit individuals who are being targeted by our government- claiming that the situations we are finding ourselves in concerning the growing fascism in America is somehow being instrumented by some weird alien invasion or worse, caused by some make believe inter-dimensional beings who reside in some spiritual manner around us, mentally manipulating those who find themselves on either side of this issue. There is also a push to try and say that everyone is mind controlled, and that the people we find ourselves up against are someone under the control of some unknown force that is causing them to act in ways that they wouldn’t if they weren’t being “mind controlled”. It is my opinion that all of this is complete and utter hog wash and these beliefs are being used to dismiss the REAL claims of targets who are being harassed into submission by a government gone rogue.

In all of the training that I experienced as a child- never once do I remember any aliens being involved. Now yes, there could have been cloaked invisible lizard people that I was unaware of- but then the same could be said for fairies, gnomes, and Bigfoot- who were not present during my experiences either. No- rather my abuse was caused by MEN- who made conscious choices mindfully concerning my abuse and the abuse of others. On the same hand- “the devil made me do it” is not an adequate excuse or explanation either. My abuse originates with “boots on the ground” men who were neither alien nor demon possessed but were rather men who made conscious choices- for whatever reason- to act out in incredibly evil manners. The weapons and psychological tactics that are being used against whistle blowers and outspoken members of our society are being leveled at us by MEN- and in order to stop this from happening in the future- these maneuvers must be EXPLORED AND EXPOSED PUBLICLY. This is NOT going to happen by talking about aliens and magical inter-dimensional beings.

People are being driven crazy and are being murdered with this whole program- you only have to look at people such as Michael Hastings, the author who was onto a huge story who was blown up in his car, to realize this- and to spend so much time and resources on, what I consider to be fanciful banter when the stakes are so high- it makes me wonder why such discourse is being promoted by people such as those involved with a man named Derrick and his Saturday evening calls on Talkshoe under the name FFCHS (Freedom From Covert Harassment and Surveillance). Having listened to this call that attracts over a hundred people a weekend, I am disheartened when I consider that there are people like Aaron Alexis- who, although I in NO WAY CONDONE what he did- can’t escape the fact that his “ELF” message was one that most targeted people understood- and how many T.I.’s happenstance on this call and become all the more alienated, believing that the community is so far out in space that there is no possible way for continuity between it’s members. Personally- I think that people like Derrick are “plants” instrumented to discredit and disable targets by making them seem crazy and overboard.

American citizens are being inundated with secret weaponry that causes anxiety, sleep deprivation, hallucinations, and a myriad of health problems- not to mention being victims of organized stalking and intimidation with psych ops attacks. People who are claiming this type of problem are NOT ALL CRAZY, nor are they all suicidal or homicidal as suggested by people on the FFCHS call, but rather are typically normal people in very abnormal situations. Having the wings of a sparrow cut off and laid at the base of my front stairs is a good example of what I commonly go through- or having mine and my friends pictures taken by strangers out and about, or being attacked by sonic and microwave weaponry in the past. All of this has been done in vain attempts to try and silence me, I am just one person- so exactly how many others are going through the same type of stuff are totally unknown right now. I would assume, from my experience, that I am HARDLY THE ONLY ONE- and my experiences are not just happening to me but to hundreds of people just like me all over the nation. It is this fact that needs to be exposed instead of discussing the nuances of lizard people and inter-dimensional beings, and I just wanted to take a moment to point out that most of the T.I’s that I have spoken too don’t think this is helpful either. It is the “boots on the ground” type of situation that needs to be exposed and dealt with- and we need to leave all the other crap behind for those who would have the propensity to indulge such fantasies.

That is my rant for this morning.
