It is completely possible that there was some sort of child prostitution ring in Omaha. It is also completely possible that there had been a network conspiracy to hide the truth.

It is not that people don’t believe the possibility, it is that people from here, like me, don’t believe that the author of that book is recounting actual events.

I believe it is a complete work of fiction piggybacking on actual events and fabricating an alternate history generated solely from the author’s imagination.

A story is not made true just on the insistence of its writer.

I would suggest that you haven’t read the book- judging by your take on it.

Besides- you assessment is all about me- and nothing about the book. No one who reads it will believe that I inserted myself into anything.

Again this is just another personal attack- and has no details of anything concerning the book.

So by your logic if a person does not like the book they have not read the book.

Or

If someone reads the book and does not believe the book then they have obviously not read the book.

No- but no specifics of the book are presented in these “reviews” but rather just character assassination. I am a liar and my book is a fraud- but never going on to HOW or WHY a person thinks that.

I think there are a few people making judgements on a book they never read. Otherwise they could say “I disagree with specifically this and this and this” and not a general- the author is a liar and so no one should read the book.

there is a distinct difference with all of it. I have had people who said it was too dark of a read for them- but they had specific reasons- none of which had to do with the author- whom none of you have ever met.
